One for your attention Maryam!
thanks for this. I posted it on the Turkey post.
Perhaps you know of this already, but I just saw some articles from within the last week, including one from the Irish Times, about a “Sharia Corner” or a “Tip of the Sword” in The Hague in the Netherlands. In other words, an entire area of the city, almost entirely Muslim, where it is rumored that Sharia law is in operation and the local police ignore the area and visitors to the area, even long-term inhabitants, are berated and threatened by the right wing Muslims holding sway there.
Maryam, hello…
How are you doing ?
Concerning the launching of Paris’s CEMF in july, and as i have an old-age experience about organizing “experimental” events like this one, i know it takes a lot of time and energy, …so that, the soonest things are ready, the best it feels to everyone involved ! !
Maybe your team of organizers, upon location, is sufficient enough ?
Maybe not ?
….
As my cognomen tends to indicate, i am not an ex-muslim (i would, instead, eventually be an ex-“Holy Sandal worshipper” [ = ex-catholic, if you have seen Monty Python’s movie The Life Of Brian ]…
But, as i also happen to be a very old, hardcore ‘radical’ atheist… AND be living very close to the center of Paris, and as i’m SO pleased to see that such a Council will, at last, see the light of day in this city, i’m, quite naturally, willing to help….
[ I have been in touch with you, last March, in order to be added on the list of supporters at the beginning of the “Amina Case”… ]
Could you give me, by mail, the contact for anybody i could get in touch with, to see what can i offer to do in this matter ??
…
D’avance, merci ! !
Amicalement
can you please email me?
