Religious law is dangerous. We only have to look at other countries to see the way dogma can shackle people.
Philippines is a strong Catholic country and they have problems with family planning. The Church and Government portray both abortion and contraception as evil.
What the heck are people to do? Abstinence or have a dozen kids they can't feed?
