I wish to add that greed is inherent in capitalism only because, economically speaking, the capitalist MUST extract the maximum profit (or other forms) from workers-consumers, or he will turn into a worker himself. This is why greed is a major component of the system and not an emotional attachment to describe unfairness. Greed, in this context, is as material in my view, as naked oppression used by the police, however it is always hidden under a whole pile of deception.
