In protest at the planned execution of Sakineh Ashtiani several women and human rights organizations together with the International Committee against Stoning and Iran Solidarity organized a successful protest in front of the Islamic regime of Iran’s embassy in Paris today. The protest started at 2pm with speeches by representatives of the organizations. The press conference was attended by a huge number of national and international media. Maryam Namazie, spokesperson of Iran Solidarity attended the rally and press conference in Paris. Tonight she will be at a protest at 6 pm in front of the European parliament in Brussels.
