According to Mina Ahadi and the International Committee against Stoning, Iran stoning case Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani attempted suicide in Tabriz prison and was transferred to hospital on 23 February.
After several days she was transferred back to the prison’s clinic and remains in terrible physical and psychological state.
The Islamic regime of Iran must release Sakineh now.

Zivilisierte Staaten sollten keine Beziehungen zu Staaten haben, deren Gesetze nach ihrem Rechtsverständnis menschenrechtswidrige Handlungen (wie grausame Todesarten als Strafe, rassistische oder sexistische Gesetze usw.) vorschreiben. Auch Folter und Verstümmelungen wie Klitorisbeschneidungen sollten dazu führen. Religiöse Gebote dürfen nicht zu Menschenrechtsverletzungen führen. Die Behandlung von Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani ist ein schulmässiges Beispiel für solche verbrecherischen Gesetze im Iran. Regierungen, Parteien, NGO’s und andere Institutionen sollten entsprechende Maßnahmen ergreifen.

Reports say she has been released on leave.

Write to Iranian regime, or Iranian embassy and demand her release. She is alive today because of pressure but she must be freed! Thanks
I did, though it feels like a pretty useless action. Thank you and Mina Ahadi for not letting us forget about Sakineh.
